South Leicester vs Aylestone St. James

A fantastic game was had by the South Leicester U15's. Game started off with a quick try scored by Heggs. This soon followed by the second try by Chamberlain (his first of the season). The next section of the game started by a good passing game which led to the third try scored by O'brien. Some good tackling was made by Rizoyannis which was accompanied by some good all round play from all the team (Did the recent tour of Holland bring the boys to play better as a team?) South Leicester kept the pressure on throughout the game and let Gamble score the fourth try of the game which was converted by Heggs. This was closely followed by the 5th try, scored again by Gamble. The last try of the first half was scored by Heggs. Jimmies had some close calls to a try in the first half but this was halted by a strong defence for South Leicester. Half time the score at 32 - 0.

Second half started with some strong rugby from both sides. Eventually this led to a try scored by Gray and converted by Heggs. South still kept the pressure on and scored further tries. The next one was scored by Chamberlain. The 9th try was scored and converted by Heggs followed by a try scored by Burdett-Derby. The final try of the game was scored by Reid (again another first try of the season) and converted by Heggs. There were a couple of injuries suffered by South Leicester players, Rizoyannis went off twice during the game with blood injuries, to be replaced by Farmer on both occasions. J. Ray went off with a dislocated finger to be replced by O'brien. Final score 63 - 0. Well done South Leicester.
