South Leicester win at Ashby

What a game! It started with an 11.30am kick off. The ball soon got into the hands of Gamble, which led to a throw in, which again was received by Gamble who went over the line to score the first try. Late in the game it looked like Ashby were going to score a try but was held up by the South Leicester Boys. South Leicester kept the pressure on throughout the whole game. Later a kick came from Heggs for Gilly to take on and score the second try of the game. South then went on to score a panalty, taken by Heggs. Half time. The second half started with South Leicester coming out and keeping up the pressure on Ashby. The first try for South Leicester in the second half was scored by Heggs, who also had a good kicking game in the second half. Marlow gave Gamble the ball and carried on to support him, for Gamble to score his second try. of the game. There were two further trys in the second half by South Leicester. The first scored by Poynter and the second by Gilly. Well done also to the active Tee Runner: Heggs (Snr)
