Vipers v South - Sun 08 Nov

Today’s team: C Hay, O Palmer, H Phillips, M Pettifer, P Bhatt, J Riggs, M Bailey, W Boyall, J Watts, L Flynn

We started the day warming up with the Under 10s which gave them a taste of what the older ones do and they seemed to enjoy it!

The first game saw H Philips as captain leading us onto to pitch. We made a very positive start and H Phillips was over for our first try. As I was also coaching, my notes let me down from here, so it’s just the result and try scorers I’m afraid.

Half Time Vipers 3 – SL 3 (tries by H Phillips and 2 from L Flynn)

Second half saw an injury to L Flynn and unfortunately I left. The game continued and we scored 2 more tries from M Bailey which saw the first match end 5 tries each.

For the second match with a man down, Vipers loaned us a player (H) and the game went on.
