U7's triumph at Oadby Wyggs

WOW, what a fantastic morning of tag rugby!
First of all can I say thanks to all the parents for bringing the kids and supporting them... I am sure you are all very proud of how well they played today and worked well in their teams.

Thanks also to 'Coach Len Fincham' who we borrowed from the under 9's to help out, much appreciated.

Game 1 saw South Win 4-2 with try's scored by Bronson, Sam, and Harry Brookes. The boys really looked for the gaps and supported each other well.

Game 2 ended in a close 3-2 win for South. Try's scored by Bronson, Tom and Ethan. The Oadby players were determined taggers and were chasing well.

Game 3 was another win for South,
7-2 with try's from Jack,Kian,Tommy and Amy. There were some fast runners on the opposition but our defending and attacking was really great.

We played a few fast games where we saw some quick and often substitutions from both South Leicester and Oadby Wyggs. Everybody had a final play! During this time the kids really were getting well into the game and we saw a lot of tagging and passing from both teams! One particular 'play' lasting a good few minutes of tag, pass, tag, pass, tag, pass and a cracking try finally scored by Oadby Wyggs, which showed us lots of skills from both sides.

These scores again resulted in South winning 6-3 with try's from Sam, Ellis, Bronson, Sean and Harry Brookes.

Oadby Wyggs coaches, players and parents were all in the spirit of letting the kids play to learn and have fun. Fabulous day ...
