South Leicester under 15s successfully defended the Syston Sevens trophy which they won in 2008. Having lost in their first pool game by 33 points to 5 against Nuneaton they went on a winning streak with big wins against Belgrave and Syston in the pool and a semi final win against Lichfield. The side then had to face Nuneaton again in the final and did an outstanding job in winning by 43 points to 19.
