An early push over try by Lutterworth was not the start South supporters had hoped for. However South soon showed their extra pace, power and experience and ran out comfortable winners.

It is a seventh final in eight years for a South side who have won it on four previous occasions, including back-to-back successes against Syston in 2011 and 2012.

Lutterworth reached Welford Road for the first time in their history last year and although they lost 24-5 to Hinckley, the players will be better for that experience.
