The club is saddened to learn that Pete Mason, a club life member has past away after a long illness.

Pete played 1st team rugby for south in the early 1970's , he was a very versatile player, being selected at scrum half, fly half or centre. During his time at the club he help form the 200 club, which is still running today !

Pete moved away from Leicestershire in the mid 1980's for work but still attended many VP lunches and events
