The Good
A bonus point four try scoring win away from home.
A dominant scrum all afternoon which pushed Broad Street all over the pitch.
A perfect place kicking display from Ricki Aley.
The Bad
An inability to control any received kick offs.
An inability to make the right decision on how to use possession from the base of the scrum. Quick ball was a concept not understood by any South forward.
An ability to butcher a number of try scoring opportunities.
An inability to initiate any set moves in the backs with no overall game control.
An inability to pass accurately.
An inability to win our own lineout ball cleanly.
An inability to clean out at rucks to enable quick ball in the loose.
An inability to take the law into our own hands in order to combat the completely inept refereeing of the breakdown.
A completely inept display to subdue a very limited home side.
Losing the second half again.
The Ugly
A wins a win and we are still unbeaten!
Team: Griffin, Greasley, Culpin, Holmes (Keeling), Fisher, Aley, McFredries, Bale C, Sutcliff, Hague, Bale S (March), Harris, Coltman L ©, Bayley (Fincham)
Man of the Match: James Sutliff – first to the breakdown on many occasions, but harshly, inexplicably and frustratingly pinged by a referee who would give Bryce Lawrence a run for his money. Some great carries as well!
