The South faithful could not quite believe it, 13-20 down at half time against one of the league favourites, Sedgley were certainly showing they had plenty of pace and speed out wide to give them 3 try's before the break. South's scored their own try with Myles Bean beating the Sedgley defence, the boot of Rickie Aley keeping South within touching distance.
The second half was full of surprises, south quickly scored to level up the scores 20-20, another successful penalty from Aley saw south take the lead 23-20. Sedgley then came back with a penalty and a try of their own 23-30, with just 20 min to play. It was then time to bring on Bale and Marks off the bench, which seemed to breath new life into the side, resulting in 3 converted try's in the next 15 mins, 44-30. With two min to go Aley slotted another Penalty 47-30, game set and match to South, Sedgley did however score their 5th try with the final play of the game, 47-37. A great all-round performance which keeps South in the top half of the table
